About

Colin Oh, a native of New York and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, was immersed in the world of art from an early age, thanks to his mother’s expertise as a trained painter and his father’s role as a still photographer.

Colin graduated from Drexel University in 2008 before heading to Los Angeles to forge a path as a Director of Photography. His pursuit of excellence led him to the American Film Institute Conservatory, where he earned an M.F.A. in Cinematography. In 2013, Colin’s talent was recognized through his selection as a cinematographer for Project Involve, a prestigious diversity fellowship by Film Independent. His abilities with a camera were further acknowledged when he was selected as an ASC Vision Mentee by a distinguished committee of ASC members for the 2022-2023 year.
